  Greetings from Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Mu Eta Sigma Alumnae Chapter! 

Welcome to the official website for Mu Eta Sigma Alumnae Chapter! We are  celebrating 1st year of service locally and 94 years of  service  nationally. Our chapter is  dedicated to uplifting our legacy of sisterhood, leadership and service. Thank you for taking the time  to  visit our site, please visit often to find out what  we are doing in the communities throughout the CENLA area and considering  joining us.

  • Service Channel: Over 500 chapters in the U.S., Bermuda, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Germany and Korea

Mu Eta Sigma

Mu Eta Sigma is the Alexandria Alumnae/Graduate Chapter of Sigma gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. The Chapter was chartered July 9, 2016 with 11 Charter Members. 

We service the Central Louisiana Area .

The Chapter's aim is to enhance the quality of life within the community. Public service, leadership development and education of youth are hallmarks of the organization's programs and activities. Mu Eta Sigma addresses concerns that impact society, educationally, civically and economically.

 Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority provides service to the community through its national programs. All sorority national programs and initiatives are under the “umbrella” of a signature program entitled, Project Reassurance. Through Project Reassurance, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority seeks to promote responsible living highlighted by the slogan “H3: It’s All About ME!” which focuses on Healthy Living, Healthy Choices, and Healthy Generations.
